Golf Digest ranked Gray Plantation #75 in it’s list of “America’s Greatest 100 Public Courses.” It was also named #3 in its list of “America’s Best New Courses” in 1999, #2 Best Course in Louisiana 2003, and # 3 in the nation for affordable courses by Golf Digest in 2004. Next to the Calcasieu River, the course takes full advantage of the area’s natural surroundings with 60 acres of lakes, 94 bunkers, and towering pines coming into play at most every turn.
