Deep in the heart of cajun country, Lafayette boasts The Wetlands, the Audubon Golf Trail’s newest member. The Wetlands offers a beautiful links style design wrapping around several inland lakes and marshlands. The course is filled with native flora and grasses giving it a very natural look, as well as a natural home for abundant birds and other wildlife. With calm wind, scores can be good, but if the wind is up, this course can really bare its teeth. Always in wonderful condition, the course is a delight to play. The double green for holes #9 and #18 features a bricked bulkhead for a dramatic finishing shots on each nine.
