Bubba Watson: Works it Out.
That philosophy has had its ups and downs in a career that has seen Watson endure his share of troubles. But the three-time PGA Tour
winner – including two victories in 2011 – has emerged as one of America’s top players.
And he attributes it to a better attitude.
Watson, 33, did not always view the game with the proper perspective, something he feels he has gained since the death of his father in
2010. It is important, he said, to keep the game fun.
So the native of Bagdad, Fla., has revealed a different side. Married
to former WNBA player Angie Ball, the left-handed Watson simply
wants to make sure things remain simple.
That is why you see him on You Tube in a starring role in “Golf
Boys,’’ a video he put together with Ben Crane, Rickie Fowler
and Hunter Mahan. The video’s artistic (or lack thereof) value
aside, it certainly takes a man comfortable in his own skin to do
such a thing. Watson has also taken to Twitter, where in addition
to poking fun at his tour friends, he keeps fans entertained,
while posting trick-shot videos.
